Character Record Sheet

There’s still a bit of work to do before the game is released, but until then here’s a sneak preview of what the character record sheet is likely to look like. It’s a PDF file, so you may find that you have to right-click on the link and select ‘save as’ to download it properly.

Health Tracking Wallet

Vitality and Wounds can fluctuate a lot during the average Vanishing Point combat scene, and are soon recovered again afterwards. Constantly rubbing out the values of your current Vitality and Wounds can get really irksome, and wears holes in your lovely character sheet! Take the easy way out. Download this handy PDF file and make your very own Vanishing Point health-tracking wallet! The clever dual dial system on the left can keep track of values between 89 and -59, while the one on the right ranges from 9 to -10, allowing you to keep a constant record of your health status without copious amounts of eraser work.

To make the health tracking wallet you'll need some sturdy card (230 - 330 gsm), a craft knife for cutting out the fiddly bits, a cutting board, a couple of split pins and a spot of paper glue. If you look closely at the example picture here you might notice that we've gone one better and used eyelets instead of split pins. Eyelets look a lot better than ugly old split pins, turn more smoothly, and won't rip the cardboard wheels so easily resulting in a longer-lasting gizmo. You'll need special craft tools to use them though. Ask your local craft shop for an eyelet setter, some 1/8" eyelets and a suitably sized hole punch.
